Then had them promply removed!!!!!! They were 17x10 rims w/ 315/70/17 BFG's.

They looked good.....probably woulda looked better with a 3" lift....but oh well.

They handed the keys over and i noticed i was having a hard time backing over the hydraulic floor lift. Didn't think much of it. Then i started moving forward.....and it was sluggish!!!! When i stepped on the brakes.....they were sloshy. I drove probably 20 feet b4 i stopped and got out to take a look. Turns out that the rear calipers are a bit bigger than the fronts. So the rims were actually rubbing on the calipers.
I got the tech and showed him. So now they are getting me a set of 18x8.5 rims w/ 305/65/18 BFG's. The rims are the same price, but the tires go up from 226.00 to 312.00.
The good thing is they aren't charging me anything more. The bad thing is i have to wait until next thursday

I'm going in tomorrow for an alignment at dodge, so i'll have them check the back brakes. I hope it didn't cause any damage!!!!!!

 

well thats sucks man! Oh well, at least you getting some tires soon, I am going to have to wait some time for mine. As soon as you get them post some pics!

 

Is this cause you have a 4x4 or because of the type of wheel/tire you bought? Stock they come with 17" wheels. I'm curious cause I am still considering swapping my 20's for 17's.

 

not sure.....gonna ask the dealership that question today.
