I have an 06 2500 megacab, diesel, manual transmission, 2 wheel drive, which i would like tow behind a motorhome, i have tried to buy a drive shaft disconnect, but they are not available for this model right now,
IF I DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHILE I AM TOWING THE TRUCK, WOULD THIS STOP THE MILEAGE CLOCKING UP ON THE SPEEDOMETER, AND WOULD IT CAUSE ANY OTHER PROBLEMS??????? THANK U

 

I know that there is a fuse that controls your speedo and odo, I couldnt tell you which one it is, although I have done it many times UHauls to save myself some mileage charges. Just look at your fusebox, and it should let you know.
