I was just wondering about the overhead console in the 1500 06's, does anybody have the compartment that holds the sunglasses? I have just got my truck and it doesn't have it, my 02 did and every 06 that I looked at didnt have it, has Dodge done away with that option? Does anyone know if an 02-05 console will fit in an 06?

No sunglass compartment on '06.

There are differences in the software for the '06 models, so I would guess they are not interchangable
