Default New To Diesels

I am looking at getting a 2006 Dodge 2500. I am new to diesel engines and I liked the power and fuel mileage. My present rig is a 2000 Ford F250 with a supercharged V10. The rig has served me well, but the fuel mileage posted here will cut my fuel costs in half. I drive roundtrip about 70 miles roundtrip 6 days a week. I had a few questions:

- Cost of a new rig with be higher in 2007 due to emissions?
- Will 2006 rig use the newer diesel fuels?

quick and dirty, get the 06 if you can. . .the new emissions on the 07's will shoot the price WAY up.

the 06's can burn the new ULSD no prob, infact any diesel can run the ULSD, what the problem is the 07's with the new emissions crap cannot run the LSD. the new engines are not backwards compatable with the fuel.
