I recently purchased a new to me 2002 Quad Cab Ram in the Charcoal Grey color, and I would like to purchase a set of running boards for it. Now here's the delema, I cannot decide if I want standard running boards, black or chrome nerf bars, or the painted fiberglass boards. Does anyone here have a similiar color truck that they could post pictures of with what they choose for running boards? I just don't think the chrome looks right against the dull shine of the grey, while the black does not seem to mesh well with the chrome rims and bumper, and I'm afraid the painted boards will be too much grey, oh boy I need help. I just don't wish to spend $300 min. and not be happy with my purchase.

I am in the same boat. Mineral Grey, only I put flares on mine and painted to match. Now I would like to go with boards or tubes too. I really like the look of some oval tube 4 inchers and am not sure who makes them off the top of my head (Bully maybe). Right now, they are just too many $$. I like the Mopar tubes too but again, lots of $$ when there are so many out there available. I will probably be restricted to tubes due to the flares. If you have the 20's or the chrome 17's then stainless would be the only way to go I guess. Get the black or dark grey aftermarket wheels or have them in the plan then black powder coat maybe. Until then, I am content to wait like you.
