Cummins is rumored to be building two new diesels for Chrysler. Planned release should by 2010. A 4.2L V6, 190 horse, 455 ft lb. Perhaps for the Durango, Dakota (as rumored in my local paper). Also, a 5.6L V8, 260 horse, 600 ft lb for Rams (1500's as well).

Cummins has been working with the department of energy for some time on future technology / direction. The 4.2 / 5.6 were used in these studies, so their development is well beyond engineering diagrams...
