Default Power Programmer Problems..

I installed the Hyperteck programmer and i dont see 16 horse. Ive tried running 93 octane, stock octain, and 87 octain. I run 87 all the time in it. Ive tried having the rev limit over 300 and 400 and 500 rmps over. And it holds the gear longer however when im in motion and slam on the gas it wont downshift and really give it power. Im frustrated with this peice and if i can't get it going right this week im selling it for something better. My question finally is, for those of you who have the programmer what options did you pick? How do you like it? Whats working out there for you guys??

I bought mine about a year ago. I have an 04 qc with a hemi. I bought it for two reasons: run 87 octane to save money on gas, and to adjust for bigger tires. My fault, but I found out too late that it didn't do the tire size on the hemi, just didn't read Hypertech's info. But it did allow me to run 87 octane and save 10 cents a gallon over the past 25k miles. More power? didn't see it with 87. Out of curiosity after reading some threads on this forum, I just reprogrammed with it to tune for 93 octane, and I'll give it a tankful or two to try it out but I don't expect much, and will most likely reprogram back to 87.
