I just picked up a 2006 Quad with the Thunder Road package and I am planning on putting a cap on it as I did with my 1995 (LEER). My question is dose someone make a cap that will fit with the tail gate protector left on. Where as it sticks out a little off the back where the window seal would be I am not sure and I haven’t seen one yet. I really don’t want to take the protector off *** it looks good and the mounting holes would be a problem.

 

Know bodys put a new cap on a 06????

 

When I talked to my local Leer dealer, they said that that had to be removed and that they have a new trim piece that goes in its place. No cap that I know of where you can run that tailgate trim piece.
