I bought my Ram used there was a little binding in the LSD when parking on pavement and slow turns. I serviced it with Mobile One 85-140w and used an LSD additive on top of that. The binding on asphalt went away and the LSD still performs great on my uphill (very steep) gravel drive to the farm.
The above will meet factory specs. I figure the extra additive even with the Mobile One may keep those nasty little LSD clips in place longer. Less chatter means less binding.

Oh Yeah, buy three quarts, but you won’t need the full three.

Sorry, don't remember off the top of my head, and we're in the middle of a monsoon, so I won't run out to the shed to see what I have out there...
I will say the weights are in the manual.
The biggest tip is to go to the dealer and buy the stupid little, overpriced, bottle of friction modifier.
If you don't, you'll do VERY BAD THINGS to your LSD.
Add a quart of oil, then the whole bottle of modifier, then top off with oil until you're full. (Should take just shy of 3 quarts of oil.)
The weights will vary based on whether you're 2x4, 4x4, gearing and towing options.
