Well most aftermarket mufflers need to have their burn in period for the best sound. After a few hundred- a thousand miles with it on is when you'll get the best tone out of it. as for the loss of power I do believe its because the 10 series isn't the correct muffler you should have used for your truck. The ones recomended are the 40's, Super 40's, and the 50's which are usally the most common and usually the best for the vehicle.

Don't have a HEMI, but the 4.7 sounds and runs sweet with 2 50 series Flows on it. Never even heard 1 suggestion to get 10 series when I was looking around.....and I talked to a lot of people.

How big of tubing did you get? You are probably going to lose power with a Hemi anyway because they don't respond well to aftermarket exhaust, atleast not performance-wise.

i stayed with the stock tubing. i think maybe 3in or less. i dont know.. i think im just gonna put super 40's on. it may not be loud but atleast it will perform better... should i put dual 40s or just one... or can i even do that if its not true dual.. are the 03 hemis true dual..
