just like the subject says. once and a while the power windows arn't working. it's on the both sides. what could this be? a relay going bad? the alt starting to go?

 

Id bet its a loose wire or fuse somewhere. Have you gone off roading recently or taken it anywhere where it would have been shaked and rattled around? Or have you had any door speakers installed recently? Id say if its under warranty take it in and let the dealership deal with it otherwise first check your fuses and if they look ok then pop open the switch pannel it should just be stuck into the arm rest (I think, it been a while since I last had it off on mine) and check the wiring. If its not one of those two head to an auto electric shop and they'll get it working.

 

we've had the car for a few weeks now. and it's only city driving. where is the fuse for the windows? i know it's not under the hood. at least it wasn't listed. if it is what is the # for it

I have an '03 qc and every once in a while, the passenger side windows won't move up or down. from either the driver side switches or the passenger side. All of a sudden, they will work again. I have no idea what causes it.
