Default Cold Air Intake??

Is a cold air intake an effective way to increase MPGs?? (i have a 02 1500w/ a 4.7Liter)
ive heard it was.. but how much does it really help??
Are there any other ways to increase it that really help.. (and dont cost too much)????
Im tired of 13 mpgs in the city.. Please help!

ya, about .5 here too... unless you spend several thousand dollars, or have a extremely LIGHT foot... you wont see too much higher than 13mpg in the city... the truck is shown at 14/19 so if you get 14+, you driving real slow or have a pretty modified engine.

I got a cheap ebay one, and I've noticed a bit of an increase. Only spend $73 shipped... Worth it with the mpg increase and power gain.
