Transfer the warranty?
I have a 7 year/70k mile warranty on the 04 Dodge 1500 Hemi I recently purchased. I tried to transfer the warranty at the dealership, but appearantly they fubar'd the forums; forgot to transfer the powertrain first, and refunded my 50 bucks I paid them.
They want $150 for the powertrain warranty transfer, and I guess $50 bucks to transfer the 'rest' of the warranty, whatever that includes.
What is the general consensus on warranties? Should I pony up the 200 bucks for the 5 years left (about 20k miles left) ? Or just let it go?

Yup pony up the $200. One major repair would cost way more than that. I put 7 yr-100k on mine when I bought it. These things have several computers on them, if even one goes out, you got your 200 back.
