Whats up fellas. Im new just got a 04 1500 Hemi about a month ago and Im starting to look at getting the exhaust done. I know I am gonna go with magnaflow and I was gonna buy a 3in IN 2.5in Dual exit muffler and some tips online then take them to my local shop and have them do all the piping. What I need to know is which muffler I need to get. Maganflow has 2 in 5x8 oval a (14in lenght and 20in overall) and a (18in lenght 24in overall). And then in the 5x11 oval they have a (22in lenght and 28 overall). So which one of these 3 do I need to get?

You might wanna see what Magnaflow thinks, see if you can call those guys and find any info. They make them I sure you will get a better answer from the guys that make them.
Just my 2 cents.

 

My recommendation is the 5X11 Oval (you'll need the right offset). I had the 5X8 and it resonated more than I liked (I've got a 2500 so no resonator). Here's a link, note how in the description it indicates for larger displacement engines..

Allright thanks. Im going with a single in dual out muffler and Magnaflow only has 1 3in IN 2.5 Dual OUT muffler thats the 5x11 so Im guessing thats the one I need cause I wont be keeping the resonater. I had magnaflows on my old mustang and loved em too. The mellow rumble that make is perfect.
