Ummmm....never heard of Rattleguard. I have seen alot of tht do it yourself kinds....like the ones you roll on......it's pretty sad. If you don't care wahat the bed looks like afterwards....use the roll on. I paid $400.00 for my sprayed in Armaguard liner. and it still looks good.

Sad part about all this is the kits for a spray in bedliner (professional if not better quality) costs us about $70 bucks at work. The prep work is where the money is. Anyways to do it right you would have close to what getting one installed costs anyways, I'm kinda of the opinion that rollers work good for painting your house but not your truck. I mean just think about all the time you would spend trying to get it rolled on thick and at the same time make it look half-way decent when you are done. That rattle-can stuff works pretty good on frames and for insulation on car interiors, never actually tried it in a truck bed though.

I haven't heard of "Rattlegaurd" either, but I have Rhinoliner and love it. It was worth every penny. It cost me near $650, because i had mine color matched (red), and had the rails painted. My brother used Herculiner in his CJ7 when he restored it, and it is not nearly as nice. His feels like 20 grit sand paper, and its so sharp you can't run your hands over it. Also, the herculiner looks too be so hard and brittle, that it might have the tendency to crack. My Rhinoliner is sprayed with a low air pressure which gives is a soft (almost sticky feeling), so nothing moves in the back when in transport. In my opinion, the do it yourself brands don't seem to have good looking results. That and my Rhinoliner is garaunteed for life. Just my $.02

I had the Line-X installed in my truck. It looks awesome, and has a tacky feeling as was said about the Rhinoliner. It was about $480.00 over the rails in black. One of the best things I have done to my truck. Looks good, I guaranteed for life, and will last forever. My buddy has the Rhino liner, and it looked really good when he first got it, but over time it has flattened out, and faded to a dull matte black. That's the only reason I went with Line-X. Both are great products.

Thanks alot. You can check out the website here at rattleguard But it basically says it is as good as the big names. It probably is of similair compostion since it is a catalyst in the sense you mix a and b to create a hardener but who knows how good it is right. It would be nice if it would work cause if a scratch or dent ever got in it I could just do alittle touch up work. I got the air compressor and have experience with spraying paint and watched a video of the stuff being sprayed. I think that the conclution that I am reaching at here is that it might be as good or might not be and there isn't really anyway to tell. So I could take a risk and win or I might loose. I hate risks so it would be nice if someone had used it before. It would cost me 220 dollars for the gun and material. I would be saving 250 dollars if it works. Thanks for helping everyone and please keep the info coming if you can.
