I have a 2005 1500 quad cab and have recently purchased a overhead console with mpg and trip ometer I am wondering if anyone has installed one of these and how hard was it and will i need extra parts to install it thanks joe

 

I have a 2002 that I want to put the overhead console in also. I have all but the one wire figured out. do not know where to connect it too.

Power, switched power and ground. 4th wire not sure where it goes.. I am guessing to the computer some where..

 

You may find it to be plug 'n' play. Mine was. The connector was already there. I took the time to calibrate the compass, but I bet it wasn't necessary. I went from the basic O/H console to the full works for about eighty bucks.
