I bought the Stage III cuz it went the furthest out of the engine compartment. The Stage II puts the element right next to the radiator and the Stage I puts it right over the engine. I paid just under $75 shipped and it only took about 30 minutes to install. Was it worth it? In my opinion, very.

unless it's pulls true cold air from somewhere outside the engine compartment, they are all the same - a pipe and cotton gauze filter. I paid $45 for mine. IMO, for what it is, it's a good price. Makes the truck sound like a vaccuum cleaner when you first crank it up but it helped with throttle response. No real butt dyno power gains though but it helps with towing since it can gulp lots-o-air now.
IMO, save up for a Volant and just keep the stock box until then.
