first find the correct mud flaps for your year. decide if you want then painted to match or leave them black. i had mine painted to match. fit flap up tight and snug to wheel well making sure they are straight, drill pilot holes and install with the screws that are provided. these screws have a tad bit of silicone on them to prevent rusting here is a pic of my 05 dakota with the matching flaps

Here's some advice, once you decide what type of mud flaps you like, the Fronts will be a breaze, because you can turn the front wheals out of the way.

I bought Four mopar mud flaps with the chrome hemi ram logo and the self tapping bolt's ( not screws ) that came with the flaps were bigger than the bolts holding the fenders togethier on my 06 2500 Ram.

I colud not drill the holes or self tap the bolts because the rear tire was in the way.

I bought the same size bolt with out a taping thread, and removed the factery bolts and clips that hold the plastic skirting inside the rear fender one at a time per side.

From iside the the rear fender, ( underneath the truck ) I drilled out a the mudflap using the exsisting holes for the plastic skirting, than I added a whasher and bolted them up. holds the mud flap and plastic skirting solidly in place.

I did use one of the self tapping bolts to secure the mud flap at the top of the rear tire..

And a tape measure is a good idea to gauge how high or low you want your flaps to be, 4 heavy duty mud flaps with the chrome hemi Ram logo were a 180.00 cdn, bought them at a dodge dealer... They do look great, but I paid to much money..

You do it your self, it's not hard at all.

Those do look nice, I've got the regular Mopars (Ram head but not in silver) waiting to go on mine, just waiting for the ground to dry out enough to put them on in the driveway. I didn't look to see if they were self-tapping bolts though, I had noticed that there was only one screw in the front tire well on my 03. Decided to get mine when I was washing the truck and noticed chips in the paint behind the rear tire.

got any pics of those? I noticed that the ones I want arent the flexible rubber types so i've decided against them. I would like to know where i can find mud flaps and not guards (guards dont move or give, flaps do). I need some for the same reason, too many paint chips.
