got a 04 quad cab 4.7...tranny is not as smooth as it should be...but no driving issues....i also have the shift **** that turned upside down and cannot get it righted

I fixed mine.....thiers a plastic cap with the shift patern on it, you can use a flat screw driver to pop it out, I used the plastic cap of a bic pen to pop mine out, don't prey to hard, than I popped it back in right side up, if you ever want to change your shift ****, take of the plastic cap, undo the bolt...I thought the ***** were screwed on to the bottom off the shifter, not bolted on at the top...

verry simple fix..

Hey Guys, I got 6 spd also in mine and had to "right" the pattern button on the ****.
The button has to be pryed out gently with a small screw driver or similar tool, then rotated to the position you want it at and then pressed back in. The shift **** is retained by a nut underneath the button, so don't try turn the **** off until you pull the button out first. I wanted to pull mine to replace it with a custom ****, but I couldn't find anything I liked so I left it stock.

This not directly related, but indirectly, I have the six sp manual in my 2500, No trans issues, the shift **** has turned it self up side down and I'm not sure how to strighten it up, but I know were the gears are, just screws every one else up who things they can dirive a standard trans..

othier wise no issues...I'm just under 6000KM, I did have an issue with one 02 sensor after I did a cat back ex, but that was a exsiting chrysler one and not the one I had to replace to do the EX... No problems replacing it threw my dealer underwarenty and for your info thier are 4 o2 sensors on the Hemi ex system..

05 hemi, if you try to put it into reverse from park after you start it up it will sometimes not go into gear, but after warming up it is fine.
