Default Flowmaster 50 HD

I think ive decided on the flowmaster 50 hd, found a website www.truckcustomizers.com that sells them around $135, is that a good price....oh free shipping and no tax so thats the final price...good? or can i get better at my local muffler place

I'd check your local shop. Are you going dual exit? I just got two quotes in town on a single exit 50 series big block and chrome tip for about $150 installed. Of course that's just a muffler replacement and tip install so if you want to change exit location or go dual exit, I would imagine it would be more.

FYI, thats the same price as SummitRacing, and Summit has always been very reliable to me.

all i want to do is change the muffler, what size do i get? 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0?? i have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 quad

if you are ever on ebay check out a shop called mad hatter, they sold me a 40 with dual exit entire cat back for 180

I have 2- 50 series HD flows with dual exit on my '06 quad with a 4.7 (not the mighty HEMI but still a decent engine and more importantly a Dodge). I went with 2.5 inch all the way back. If I could do it over again I'd go with 2.25" . If you are running a HEMI, I'd go with the 2.5" pipes (any larger would just rob from your torque). I hope this helped some.
