ive got the hemi and i am curious which mufflers are best for that american muscle rumble! ive heard the 50 serious is often to quite for most. what else have you guys installed and been pleased with?? (Loud is good)

 

i dont have an exhaust but the Flowmaster 40 series is loud, the Aero Turbine 3030 and a cutout is loud too man. A cutout is the way to go.......or are you looking for performance? The exhaust systems are loud but yeild performance but the cutout is the screaming loud one man, if you want loud, a 3in cutout is where its at.

 

swap the headders and have the exhaust go through the hood. . .that would be the loudest setup[sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=alcoholic.gif]

 

if you want loud, go with the original 40 series flowmaster, cut that back resonator out and you're set....

 

i wanted loud to so i went with a single flomaster 10 series one chamber dumped. louuuddd!!!

 

i dunno, i still gotta say cutout.

 

well ya if you want defining loud then ya cut out. but if you lookin for a nice loud rumble the 10 series

 

Love the through the hood idea...reminds me of this monster garage episode!! loud is good but louder than my stereo is not so good
! how did the 10 serious sound on the highway at say 65 or 75mph? i do a bit of high way drivin and dont want to be completly annoyed. A buddy of mine has a cut out on a 5.9L and its earbleeding loud!! a lil to much for me

 

that's why you get an electric cutout with LT headers!! or in my case TWO!! lol that way you got the loudest exhaust possible, and then at the flick of a switch, you can go back through your mufflers

 

how much did that set up cost you? my friend just dropped 400 bucks on one cut out switch on his srt4. sounds like a diesel with no muffler....HORRIBLE!!!!
