on my o3 hemi 1500 how big is the inlet on the muffler need to be since im replacing it and how big should the outlets be? Im looking at doing single in/ dual out with dumps right after the muffler....looking at the super forty flowmaster muffler. still not 100% though. any body have any good sound clips or know of any links? ive heard all flowmasters but only one was on a hemi...i think

would it be best, for sound quality , to use two mufflers? heard some guy was using two on an 06. thought 03's had a y pipe though....peformance is really not an issue(345 H) im all about the sound quality!!

I have 2 Super 40s on mine. Went with 3' stainless piping. I wanted sound quality too like deanj287. I love the sound. If you go to this Flowmasters site you can click on each muffler and see how they sound. You can even click on 2 mufflers and compare. Good luck.

how did you do two mufflers? isnt there a y pipe from the headers?

 

I don't have headers. The shop cut everything off from the cats back and re-did the whole thing and exited at the rear corners.

 

I'm I'm not convinced that you understand what headers are 😂😂
