the 7/70 powertrain is transfurable from the origional owner to the second owner for $195.00 at the dealer. Making the extended warraty worthless.
I did this on my 04 i bought with 32K on it.

When I bought my 03 the dealer transferred the warranty at no charge. I even mentioned that I thought there was a charge for transferring the warranty and he told me not in Canada. I didn't argue.

Heya guys
As of last night...
I'm officially a proud owner of an 04 Black Dodge Ram 1500 QC Hemi bad *** truck!!!
I'm pumped! I couldn't sleep last night I was so jacked. LOL
The truck is in pretty amazing condition with only 34k KM on it. The factory warranty was transfered over at no cost. (they don't charge in Canada) In addition I bought an extended Damiler Crysler warranty. I have three months left on the original 3 year and two additional years with the extended. This is the same as the basic 3 year warranty & does not affect/void the original 7 year powertrain warranty.
It's a bit of an adustment, getting used to driving this beast! On the way home I kept thinking I was going to smash into everything on my right side! LOL And I'm used to driving a Safari! hehe
I havn't been this excited over a vehicle since I was 19! (18 years ago)
I must say, it's nice to have a "cool" ride once again, even as a family man!
