Default betting a dead horse

I reported to you guys that I had a popping in my 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 offroad and the dealer confirmed that there was slack in the rear end which was causing the popping noise (mostly in reverse) and that it was normal. Well, it seems I can't seem to let this just be considered by the dealer as another minor problem that they are unwilling to fix. This thunk, pop, thunk, pop noise is really noticable and sounds terrible!!! What should I do, take it to another dealer and see if they can fix it or what????
