Default True rear wheel horsepower....

What kind of power does the hemi 1500 actually put down to the ground? From what ive heard its 345hp at the crankshaft and like 260 at the rear wheels....please somebody prove me wrong.

Depends on what brand of dyno you are testing with but generally there is about a 17% drop to rwhp or around the 280 to 290 rwhp range.

yea I didnt think it was 345rwhp, thats only advertising. even with what it puts down to the ground it definantly goes!!

The people that have dyno'd see about 265-275rwhp for a stock truck.
