okay, i was reading the sticker in my glove box yesterday, and in the slot where it says trans. it says "locking" is this referring to a locking rear end, or what is a locking trans? im confused.

 

Don't ever be afraid to ask a question if you've done a search for the answer and didn't get it. That is the only way you learn.

Me and most of the others have and still do ask a ton of questions because stuff keeps changing.

When they refer to "lock" regarding a trans, they are talking about the torque converter. The tc will lock up to save gas when in 3rd or higher gears.
