So guys, in a 2500 qc 4X4 with a flashpaq and power to the purple wire and a 180 thermostat, would it be worth it for me to get a B+G flash? Would it make my truck any quicker than it is now, or would it just allow me to do burnouts? I do know that the flashpaq isn't useable with the B+G, which is why I am wondering how much quicker my truck would be. Hate to waste $450 or so. I'm saving for nitrous!

Now that we have finally gotten away from the original topic I will try and put us back on track. I am headed out to the dragstrip in just a few so I can do a few runs with the wire hooked up and a few with it off. If there is something to this it should manifest itself with some lower times. I will be back in a couple hours with some results.

Well guys I went to the track today to try this with some actual times. My verdict was there was no difference with it on or off. The best part was I ran a 8.99 in 70 degree weather in a N/A QC. :banger

Dean, It's a wet shot, so for so good, I would recommend an accumalator to keep up the fuel pressure. I believe I've been through about 4-6 bottles of the 20lb and at least 4-6 with 10lb bottle.

helopilot, Thats weird that your time didn't change???? I know, it sure feels faster....

What Rpm does everyone else's auto shift at????

how much did all the goodies and the accumalator run you mike? after i get my cai and cutouts i think this might be a lot of fun to try! ill start a lil lower at 75-125 though. which kit are you running?

my auto on a bone stock 03 hemi in a qc sb on 20s shifts right at 5600.

the track times are ....i agree though with mike...my neck says its faster or at least quicker as i find it constantly hitting my head rest!

I've seen that B&G site before, I think I'll pay them a visit, since they are only down the street. If they can set up my PCM with the gear and tire size that I'll be running soon, then $450 would be worth it since I wouldn't have to buy a programmer and it removes the TM.
