Hi everyone-
This is my first post. I've had my Ram for 1 week, I've put 400 miles on it. At 401 miles the check engine light came on. When I took off from the next stop light, I noticed that I had no 1st gear and maybe no 2nd. Obviously, it's under warranty, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Is it a transmission problem, or a computer/ vacuum issue?

Any advice is appreciated.

Go get it scanned, I kinda wonder if you don't have a speed sensor problem. Let us know what you find.

 

Well, they said the code was reading a transmission pressure switch. They reset the code and said they were unable to reproduce the shifting problem that I experienced. They told to bring it back in if it ever happens again[:'(]. So basically, they did nothing. Not great for my first Dodge experience. At least they were nice people though
