Can I put the power wire on with the redline power chip?
The POWER WIRE plugs in between your Air temp sensor and your harness, it alters the air temp signal to the PCM to read 20 degrees cooler at all times... this causes the PCM to advance the timine 3-4 degrees and add approximatley 2.5% more fuel at WOT...
I bet they dont brake it down like that! You should ALWAYS know what your adding to your truck, you should also know exactly what its doing to make the advertised HP.
SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM
I found this on Ebay a while ago:
redline power chip is a ripoff - do not buy
its not a mod-chip or and IC(integrated ciruit) its a resister in a fancy plastic box. it is not worth 2 cents literally. If you hook it up, it will make your car think the air is 55 degrees and mess up your engine.
Someone reviewed the chip:
I Bought a Redline Power Chip for my 02 6.0 GMC Sierra Pickup. Within 3-4000 miles, it messed the engine up so bad it sounded like it was going to blow up. Removed the so-called chip, reset the computer and it now runs fine again. The product did not work.
