Hey everyone-

Anyone ever heard of a power lock mechanism for a truck box? I just got a single lid crossover box to replace my tonneau cover and it would be convenient to have the box lock/unlock with my power door locks.

you wanna sell that tonneau? been looking for a cover and can't decide but a soft tonneau will do for now.

That's a trick actuator that I might be able to retrofit on. It would be nice if someone made one that was a direct replacement. As for the tonneau, one of my friends already claimed that

 

I'm trying to figure out how to mod that kit listed above to lock a toolbox instead of a tailgate...
My Delta box has 2 latches... Gonna have to sit down and stare at the box and mull it over a 6 pack after work tomorrow.
I'm sure there's a way... just gotta think it out and fab up some parts.

This looks like a fun, and COOL project.
