Default new truck with questions

Just bought a new 06 ram 4x4 with the 4.7 and have noticed a few noises and I'm not sure if its normal or not! First off, there is a slight constant ticking noise that comes from both sides of the engine, second it sounds like something is rattling around in the engine (its not loud but I notice it) I crawled up under the truck and can hear it better from under the engine...and lastly if I'm sitting still every 5-10 seconds the truck will have a slight vibration that moves throughout the cab and I called the dealership and they said that the 4.7 has a slight lope that will cause this vibration every so often. And lastly, I just washed and waxed for the truck for the first time and on the passenger front door there is a 6" crease in the door in between the 1500 decal and where the door meets the fender...Theres no dings or paint missing so its obviously a factory defect, should this be covered under warranty?? thanks

The ticking is fairly normal.. I run synthetic oil now so the engine is now silent, but when I was running conventional oil, I could hear it ticking when it was cold.. As for the vibration, I have never noticed, and I am VERY paticular about my truck, so I dont know if that's normal on the 06, but my 03 has never had any vibration like that.. The only vibration I have now is from the huge mud terrain tires.. The crease that you found should have been pointed out before you drove the truck off the lot, that's why you are supposed to do a thorough inspection on the truck before you leave the dealership, however, you might want to have them inspect it, I know that sometimes when we buff the trucks, the buffer leaves almost perfect lines across the truck usually near the windows. Have them check it out definately... if you were nice to them during your purchase, I am sure it would be no problem for them to replace or fix what ever problems or blemishes you may find.. I am a service manager, so here are some words of wisdom.. Just be nice and ask the service guy to take a look at what ever it is, and more than likely if it is quite honestly a defect, they will fix it asap. If you are rude, more than likely they are going to try to get you out of there hair quickly.. Just my .02

Are you a service manager at a Dodge garage? With a Dodge with aftermarket mods? [sm=bustedsign.gif] Isn't that against some international law, kind of like using your easy button to find someone else's easy button? Just kidding!!!! [sm=alcoholic.gif]

I have just purchased an 06 4x2 quad cab 4.7 and I haven't notices a vibration when stopped. I have however noticed a vibration when I hold my speed steady between 40 and 50mph.
