Default A-Arm Grinding on hard turns....

Just started today - when I max out the turn either left or right, the a-arm touches the metal housing on the disc/wheel and grinds metal off of both parts. These are stock rims/tires, and I have not made any mods to the truck. Has anyone heard of this type of problem?

I had a similar situation when maxing out on my turns and it would be only during parking and slow speeds. It turned out to be the lower control arm ball joint. If that is the problem and you don't have the warrenty, Its going to cost you. Turns out that you can't just replace the balljoint or pack it with grease . The dam thing was made with no grease nipples and the whole lower control arm has to be replaced in order to get the new joint. Its only takes five nuts and bults to remove this thing, thats if you have to do it yourself. If your covered , take it to the dealear . It took my dealer 3 hours to take care of it for me and I got to see Jerry Springer while I chowed down on free donuts and coffee. Good luck with resolving the problem.
