Default wheels

hello everyone. I was wondering if the 04-05 dodge rams have the same bolt pattern as the 01. I have a fairly new set of tires and rims and I don't wont to sell them if I can just swipe them out. I have been looking at a few of the newer rams and i think i might be getting something a little newer this winter.

second questions is the best motor for those trucks. I think they come with the 5.9 hemi and a 4.7. well which one should I get, and is there a big difference in the 2 and whats the pros and cons of the 2.
thanks for the help guys.

Sorry to be off topic, but what size rims does your 01 have?

Yes they are the same bolt pattern but I bet the backspacing is different. But remember, you can't put 16" wheels on a 3rd gen ram. 17" is the smallest rim that will fit around the brakes.

They come with a 5.7 Hemi, 5.9 or 4.7. The 4.7 pretty much replaced the 5.9 and has just about the same HP. I have a 5.7 and wouldn't have gone any other way.

the bolt pattern on the 1500's from 94-06 or 07 is 5 x 5.5, personally i wouldnt buy a truck with the 4.7. i had one and the fuel mileage was horrible, it had no get up and go and just no power. also, when i was working at the dealership, we had quite a few that had rear main seals leakin. the 5.7L Hemi is byfar the best way to go, it has power all through the powerband and i have been getting great fuel mileage...just my $.02 worth
