Hello, just got my 04 Ram QC 4.7, I'm looking for performance mods that will add HP.

Has anyone installed the Fram Boost product? If so what were the results?

Looking for advice or suggestions on Power Chip and Exhuast (like as little cabin noise as possible but good sound outside).

I have the 02 QC 4.7 LTR V-8, and i'm getting ready to have a FlowMaster exhaust installed. I am thinking about the either the Fram CAI, or the Fram Boost. Let me know what you decide, and let me know how it works out.

 

I sure will. I'm looking for a good sounding exhaust system that won't intrude into the cabin too much but sounds good outside. A local guy suggested the Dynomax series as a better choice than the flowmaster 50 I was looking into. Let me know how your system sounds.

 

I haven't decided which one i will get, either a 40 or a 50.......tell me, why did your guy vote against the 50?

 

I have the 03 4.7L and I have both the K&N 77 Series CAI and the Dual flowmaster 50 series exhaust system. They made a big difference, and the sound it really good outside the truck, and relatively quiet inside the truck. Although I am thinking that I am going to swap the 50 series muffler for the 40 series muffler. I want a little more noise!
