I just got a 07 Ram 1500 SLT Quad with the 20 inch Rims, is it me or if you just nic the darn rims they get damaged? Its a darn truck it supposed to be durable the rims are like putty? I nicked a curb doing 5mph going into a driveway and wham it looks like I was going 55mph, any suggestions on what a better more durable replacement rim would be were if I nick a curb it will take the hit especially going slow. Any advice if possible on making the exisintg rim look better?

 

The rims are covered with chrome coated plastic. No, they are not durable at all.
