Default Panic Alarm problem HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 2004 2500 ram. Sometimes when I hit the unlock button the panic alarm sounds when I open the door. Its not always the same door and there dosent seem to be any pattern with it. Its driving me crazy and the dealer told me they wanted $300 just to even look at it for diagnostics. Ive gotten so sick of it I pulled the fuse for the horns so they dont go off anymore. I would love some help with this one.

thanks,

That's happend to me a couple of times. Not sure what I was doing. One time I think the Truck was unlocked, and I pressed the unlock button on the remote out of habit and It went off when I opened the drivers door.
I've set off the panic button turning the ignition on twice... Those freakin' buttons should be recessed and harder to press. It's gone off when I reach into my pocket also.

Yep, I've had the same problem a couple times too. And yes, the button design is stupid.

I have air horns, so when I accidentally hit the panic button at 5:30am in front of my fishin buddy's house, the horns went off. Every dog in the area was barking and I was fumbling with the dang remote, etc., lol!

I opened the remote, put a piece of scotch tape over the panic button contact. Now it will not go off.
