Default Did You Lift Your Truck or Have Someone Else do it?

Well first of all I'm going to lift my truck when I get the money for it and all, but would it be better if I was to goto an off road retailer and have them install it? Do you think it would be cheaper....like if I was to buy a lift kit and get some package deal with them like free install with purchase of lift kit or whatever they have going on. Because theres no way I could install my own lift kit. How much do you think it would be for all of it? If I do get my truck lifted I'm gonna need new
wheels and tires, and nerf bars sooo around like what? $3000?

Also I can get BFGoodrich All Terrains 35" for $75 bucks a piece. Is that a good tire and deal?

Any day that you can get a set of BFG (35" no less) at $300 is a good deal.

Can't help you on the lift info, but take into account the shop's labor costs and plus their markup on the parts at retail price, and you may consider doing the install yourself with a buddy who is mechanically inclined. Be safe when you're working under your rig. Good luck and post some pics, regardless if you do the lift or contract it out.

I lifted my truck myself, wasn't too hard, took about 8 hours with a friend.. Be sure you have a large flat surface and good stands to support your heavy truck, I had 3ton jacks (6,000 lb. capacity ea.) My 35" tires were $295.00 ea.

If you have the money, have a shop do it. If something goes wrong, you can take it back to the shop and make them fix it!!!!
