Ebay 3-Piece C.A.I. Install
The vacuum line that I believe was on the old box. If my memory serves me. You can't miss it once you get the old stuff out. There's also a predrilled hole for a MAF sensor, but I didn't wanna go through the trouble of taking the old one out due to the wires being a little too short to reach. Just plugged it. That's what the black tape on the pipe is.

What does the blue tube connect to that goes to the nipple on the CAI?

The blue tube is for the PCV (Positive crankcase ventilation) system. And the sensor if a MAP (not MAF) sensor. "Manifold Absolute Pressure". Please know that DCX does not use Mass Air Flow (MAF) in any of their vehicles. If you did not use the hole for the sensor, then where is your sensor plugged in at?
Somewhere in a post here I had read on here about splitting the harness open and it gives you enough extra wire on the sensor to reach the hole in the tube, is this true? Does anyone have a picture?
I'm about to install mine this week hopefully on my 4.7, I assume the sensor is in the stock air box?
I Just want to be sure I have all my ducks in a row before I do the install, nothing worse that starting and finding out halfway through you need something else.
Anybody have any hidden secrets or tips on the install?
