nerf bar installation

Default nerf bar installation

I just bought a set of mopar nerf bars in a private sale, unfortunately i didn't get the complete set of instructions and i can't get any of the brackets to lign up properly, does anybody have a set of instructions they can post. thanks.

I don't have any instructions, but I'm sure if you go to Mopar's website or even contact them directly they will furnish a copy of the instructions. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure how big the difference is, but Westin has .pdf files on their website of installation. http://www.westinautomotive.com

I threw away my directions but the front and rear of the bars attach to the front and rear cab mounts.....there also should be three slots under the door area probably covered by tape, this is the other area where they attach to the cab. If you just lay the bars down under the truck from the front to rear door it's not too hard to figure out, they can only go on one way. I'd also suggest not tightening everything down until you are sure you have the bars attached to the three slots under the cab properly, after driving for a couple of days I went back and checked and they were loose, I had to add an extra washer just for my own piece of mind.

thanks for the help guys, I looked around the parking lot at work last night and it turns out these bars are for a 4 door dakota, contacted the seller and he agreed to refund my money.

That sucks, but at least ya found out. FYI, I found my bars on eBay (Westin Signature Series in black) for $135 with shipping.
