I used to be a Tire Salesman, and personally, I'd take Toyo's over BFG's any day. Toyo's have a proven track record in the Off-Road racing circuits and I never heard a single bad thing about them.

I had a set of the BF Goodrich. They are great tires, low road noise, excellent thread life, and they ride good for an AT tire.

Have you looked into the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's? I had them on my last truck and they were awesome. Traction was incredible with minimal noise and great wear. I recently got the Toyo A/Ts on my work truck and wish i had the Revos.

The bad side of the BFG R/T is the deep groves that pick up rocks and than come lose inside the fenders, the good side of the BFG is that it is speed rated to 110 MPH, ride and handeling with the BFG R/T is really good, as for off road The R/T is a light use tire, I have never had any traction issues, but the Bf R/T is more suited for highway driving.

For a ten ply tire (E) The BFG R/T in the LT title is awsome work tire.

I can't speak for Toyo, I have never owned thier tires, I have allway bought BFG ( owned by Michlin ) BFG are not the best, but thier way better than Goodyear Firestone-Bridgestone.

So does BFG. I'm not an A/T fan, but I like both. Toyo's are cool, cause less people have them, and i like to have stuff that is not "dime a dozen". I'd say get the Toyo's.

I've always had BFG's with so-so results. I plan on trying the Toyo's next. The BFG A/T's work real well in the snow/ice and pretty well on sandy trails (as opposed to M/T's). Did not care for the BFG M/T's, they just weren't agressive enough for the mud (got stuck anyways), wanted to dig holes in the sand, and were an unpredictable snow tire.

But, my worst issues were bad wear patterns (cupping and inside/outside of tire wearing faster)and tire bulges, not caused by bad shocks or alignment. I was told it was a "cord shift" but I don't really know what this is. Steel belt moving around? But it happened twice, on 2 different trucks, only one tire out of the set of four on each truck.

So far, this set on the PW have been fine.

I put BFG on my last Ram and it was great on and off raod. Snow performance was excelent. My new HD Ram came with BFG. I am very happy again with them. They are a tough well built tire.
