I had heard Bilstein will have shocks available for the 2006 IFS 4x4 application by the end of this year. I am anxiously awaiting and will immediately replace the shocks that came on the truck. Any word out there?

 

Do you plan on lifting, or at least leveling your truck at any time? I have a 2005, and lifted mine about 3" with the so called "leveling kits", and it has a good stance but needed new shocks even though they say you don't need them. I just installed a set of Bilstein 5150's with the attached resevoir (sp*). Even with the add-a-leaf in the rear the truck rides very nice without any load. Just thought you might want to consider that if you wanted to level or lift the truck.

 

No I am a "keep it stock" kind of guy. The shocks that came with this truck are just not something I can tolerate.
