Help...some sob dented my door.....
I don't have pics but I will describe the damage. First I'm woundering if this is something I can fix my self.
On the lower rear cornor of my drivers door were the door skin is flat, I found a hook like indentation on the door, thiers deep scratch abought an inch that curves up and a dent.
The dent it self looks like it can be pulled out but the scratch is farly deep but it dose not extend to the rear lip of the door, the rounded lower portion of the door is ok.
I have limited body work ability considering this is a new truck, the repair will have to be sanded and painted and I don't want bondo any were near my truck, if this was some old beat up paid for truck, I would go hog happy with the body filler, but I'm into my truck for the long haul and I want it looking good.
I'm really tempted to take it to a body shop, but I also have to keep my coins in my pocket.

If you take it to a good body shop, it should look like new whether or not it has some bondo in it. That's the way I would go if I were you. I would guess it to cost 300 dollars ish, maybe less. I jacknifed a trailer into my box, and it was only a little over 300 hundy to fix and repaint it
I concur with djr04, if it were my new truck you bet I'd take it to a pro's shop...after all these trucks ain't cheap, they look great and I'd like to keep mine looking that way. Shouldn't cost you that much to have it "professionally" fixed.
