Hemi Magnum???
OK, driving down the freeway today I saw a Ram 1500 with a "hemi magnum" badge?? It just looked a bit different to me the red color was different from mine and the tail gate didn't have the plastic protector over the top like mine does.
Could this be an 07 model? Had current CA plates so it was BRAND new but did look pretty new.

YEAH, IT'S GOT A HEMI®. SWEEEET. Ah, the 5.7-liter HEMI Magnum® V8. This engine generates up to 345 horsepower at 5,400 RPM (335 HP in Ram 3500) and 375 pounds-feet of torque at 4,200 RPM. HEMI doesn't merely jump over the competition. It leaps. With electronic throttle control. Aluminum cylinder heads. Hemispherical combustion chambers. High compression ratio. And a design that utilizes 2 spark plugs per cylinder to burn fuel more efficiently - and leave the competition eating Dodge dust. HEMI and Magnum are registered trademarks of DaimlerChrysler.
So I guess it is a "Hemi Magnum." Just got this off the dodge website.

thats the same as every other hemi engine. on every hemi badge it says magnum underneath the word "hemi" ive seen the badge youre talking about i think. its an 07 badge but if it wasnt an 07 truck then maybe someone put it on a older truck. i personally think the older style badges look better the new ones are too big and the red area under them doesnt look good.
