Default raced a soccer mom

So the other day I was coming home from walmart and raced some crazy lady in a extended cab chevy. I think she was just in a hurry trying to get in front since we were coming up on a bottleneck where two lanes go into one. SO we are at the light stopped and I'm not even really paying attention since I'm just heading home, full of groceries etc... So when the light changes I notice her taking off so my ego takes over from that point and I nail it! I know the hemi's are supposed to be fast and all but I gave it everything it had and only pulled her by about a cabs length before she had to back off because of the bottle neck. It must have been a 5.3 since it wasn't a 3/4 ton and but it pulled pretty hard. She did have a jump on me though. I'd like to see what those trucks do neck to neck.

oh yeah, mines a 4x4 QC with the 5.7

A few weeks ago I was hauling my quad in the back early in the AM to go riding. There is a series of stop lights through town and I noticed a guy in a chevy pickup next to me at one light, he had his radio on loud and was "bopping" around in his cab, I noticed at two lights he took off like a bat out of heII, I rolled up to him each time.....finally about the third light I just hammered it and flew right by the dude...lol, unfortunately we both hit the next light red. Kind of pointless really, only thing accomplished was burning more gas then was necessary. Was early in the AM so no traffic.

Beat a soccer mom to a merge point and forced her over. Gee I wonder why some folks think us Hemi drivers are compensating jerks.

I figure in my truck which is bigger than the rest of the traffic I can anticipate what's comming and be courtious; I have the power when and if I need it.

I raced a 03 or 04 Chevy 3/4ton with the 6.0l going down the highway. he come up beside me when i was doing 110 or so then he challenges me to a race. so we both pin it and i pulled on him pretty hard. by the looks of the truck i thought it would have had something it was a crew cab and it was all decked out with cawlinduction hood and everything. so then i hit my govern then slowed down then i see the chevy starting to catch up to me again he goes to make a pass when he was doing faster than what i am so i pin it he pulls out then he got his front doors up to about the end of my hood and i started to pull on him again after that he didn't see me again.

I don't get it either. Maybe because I am Dad with Kids and I know how racing on the street can go from fun to disaster very quickly. If that woman was so hell bend on getting there first was it worth the risk bottlenecking her? Do you feel more of a man cause you were able to beat a woman in a large truck? I say head down to your local drag strip and see how well you fair against others there. Hell at least you don't have to worry about oncoming traffic and pedestrians or even nasty tickets/impounds.

Its funny how in most truck/car forums I constantly see people justifing street racing by saying, it was early AM, or no traffic. I used to ride along with my uncle (CHP) and I got to see first hand some early AM street races that ended up with body bags.

Oh well, soap box mode off.....

I absolutely don't condone any type of street racing, dangerous driving, anything like that. Grow up kids!
So, WAS SHE HOT?
