Speedometer stopped working

Default Speedometer stopped working

I need help, the problem being I was playing of road with my 05 ram this weekend and come yesterday the Speedometer stopped working, Where could the problem be? I dont know what happened, everything was fine but now nothing. Please any help is appreciated.

Off road? Probably broke the speed sensor in the rear end.

On my 1500, it comes of the rear differential. I can see a wire plugged into a sensor on the top of the diff. I presume there's a sensor and a ring on the ring gear flange. If I recall correctly, I believe several folks have changed gear ratios and don't need to recalibrate their speedo's because the sensor is on the ring gear.
