I have a 2002 1500 with the 5.9. Its lifted 5 inches on 37's. I was wondering what it may cost me to have front and rear diffs regeared, also what gears should i go with 411's maybe or 455's. Also I have the 46re 5 speed overdrive transmission. Which I just had to have rebuilt because the truck wasn't regeared with the lift. Just wondering what yall's input was on my situation. thatnks

 

Probably cost about $1200 depending on where you live. At a minimum I would go with 4.56's if not 4.88's.

 

4.88's or 5.13's will do you better with those 37's

Prices will be whatever the mechanic charges you. Around here if you buy the parts, labor is about $600 (2 difs) to have them installed. Then about another $250-$500 to have it re-done correctly........
