My brakes sound like the Titanic at times. The don't "squeak" like when they're almost worn. This is something I've never heard before in my other vehicles but maybe it's a "truck" thing?? It's most noticeable when I'm parked & engage drive & slowly let go of the brakes. It creaks like a sub that went beyond it's depth limit! hehe Is this normal? When I bought it (2 mons ago) they had the pads replaced for part of the safety. It's done this since I've owned it.

yeah happens to me whenever i let go of the brakes from a stop every time. maybe just a build up of brake dust or stuff flaking off and getting in the way? don't know.

 

Yep, usually when letting off the pedal. Creak, groan, go......

man, I though it was only me . I was about to pull the wheels and check them out this morn. Guess I don't have to rush it cause the brakes are fairly new. Hopefuly its just break dust guys.

 

yeah i think i might try to spray that brake dust cleaner all inside behind the rims sometime soon and see if that helps.

how about after it rains, your trucks sqeak then too? i think thats normal though. pretty funny when youre going along and u step on the brake a little bit it like brings the truck to a complete stop lol. (for me at least)

 

HAha same thing as after you just washed the truck. All of a sudden the brakes are very sensitive, but after a cruise around the block, they are back to normal. I think is has a large part to do with the 4 wheel discs that most people are not used to...
