Justed wanted to say how much i am kicking myself for not having 4wd -


You'd like a 4k-5k lb truck would be sufficient enough to stay on the ground, but that right tire still spins out -


How bout you guys, anyone else with a 2wd have a tuff time

4-5k lbs with 80% of that over the front, non-drive wheels in your case make for no go in the snow

 

Throw some sand bags in the rear over the tires. That should help quite a bit.

 

I live in oklahoma and we got hammered with ice...i would just like to say im damn glad i got my truck with a locker and 4wd

 

Where in Oklahoma? I'm in stillwater and I think I lost my white truck in the snow! hehe

My solution to not having 4wd in the snow... Not Drive!

All I know is that OKC was a mess last night. The tires on my pickup are pretty wore out, got stuck a few times. Good tires are definitely worth it when the roads are like this. Fortunately everything is melting as we speak.

 

yea, i actually live in the KC area, and the sun pretty much took care of most of the roads today; that and the ton of salt they dropped on it. (im aching to wash my truck already)
