03 in Germany Lift-problems
Hi i'm the owner of a 03 Cummins Diesel QC 2WD. I want to lift up the Truck but it's hard to find a Bodylift in Germany..... Is it possible to manufacture it?? Which parts i need except the Liftblocks? Is anybody here ,they can sell me a installation-manual?
I'm very sorry for my bad english.
Thank Niko from Germany

Parts needed:
lift blocks and longer bolts
brackets to raise the bumpers since they mount to the frame
drop brackets for all wiring and hoses going from body to frame. This could be done by rerouting stuff or modifying existing brackets.
fuel fill extension
some trucks need the radiator raised to get proper cooling through the grill since some mount to brackets off the frame I don't know how ours mount
some trucks need a steering shaft extension
It's really easy to do. I made my own out of aluminum spacers when I worked at a machine shop. With spacers in hand it took me an afternoon to do on a friends truck. Take some time to climb under there and find every wire, hose or component that goes from the body to frame.

Or you can order a suspension kit from the States, which will save you the head ache of having to lengthen everything. It might cost you more, but perhaps you'll be happier with the result. There are pros and cons to both. I prefer the suspension lifts.
