My side street neighbor informed me that one of his neighbors had traded in his daytona ram and got an identical ram but with the v10, now...i know this guy is usuially full of bs, but i could be wrong. I was of the oppinion that the only useage of the v10 anymore were in the srt10 and the viper? do daytonas come with the v10 as an option?

it was probably the srt 10 truck. they do look alot alike except for the paint scheme. both have hood scoops and bodykits, both have spoilers so it might be easy for someone who isnt a dodge fan to mistake it for a daytona with a different paint job.

just drive down there and see for yourself.

 

In 2003 the V10 was an option in the 2500 and 3500 trucks.. Are you sure it's not one of those?

its NOT an srt 10, and it is a Grey Daytona truck with the hidiously large wing on the back ( sorry daytona owners...but imo the only daytona wing thats good was the one on the old school daytona). Im pritty sure its the same truck because theres no dealer tags, and the license plate starts with an M, not a V like new vehicles are comming with right now in my state. the truck is IDENTICAL to his "old truck" so im thinking hes just bull****ting.

the one thing thats confusing me is that it has the exhaust like the srt 10...through the rear bumper. im lost.

 

SRT10 come in silver and have the same or similar wing as the daytona's, go take a pic, and we'll tell you what it is.

 

Is it painted all Grey (wing included)? Or does it have the flat black pianted stripe on the back back of the fender and wing that say "Daytona" on it? If it doesn't have the Flat black stripe that says "Dyatona" its 99.99% likely that its the SRT-10 and if it does have have the black stripe and black wing then its a daytona with a custom exhaust. I doubt that he would of had a v-10 stuck in there (although it would be pretty slick) because of the cost to replace the entire drive train to compensate for the power of that massive v-10 engine plust the cost to repaint the truck and tune it. So if it has the black Stripe and black wing its the Daytona and he's bs'ing you about the V-10 or if its all one color (including the wing) then its the SRT-10 and he's bs'ing you about it being a Daytona

 

Im pritty sure its got the stripe that says daytona. its not out there right now, and it escapes my memory from last night, but ill be sure to check it out when he gets back.

 

nope, no stripe...its an srt 10. im jealous now
